Rocket Range Radio is a unique community radio station offering a safe place to rest your soul from bad news and boring talkback

Founded in 1983, we made our first broadcast on 17 January 1984. Then, as now, our focus remains on current and former miliitary, law-enforcement and emergency services members and their families - and we have been doing it for over 40 years! Of course our ex-Woomera (60+ years') fraternatity is now spread across the globe and, via the internet, in once again able to be in direct touch with the 'old home'

Across our world wide streaming service, we attract over 6000 hours of listeners every day from across the globe (that's about 1000 to 2000 listners from 'all over). They know that when they turn on Rocket Range Radio, they are only going to hear just good music and - a few moments of remembering the great people and the good things done by so many over the years in this amazing place, to make our countries stronger and safer!

Across our broadcasting footprint around Woomera (South Australia) we attract around 300 listeners (locals and tourists) every day! If you are within 20km of Woomera Village tune us up on 107.3 FM If you're not within radio reception range - then go to our website or download the iHeart radio app and listen to us anywhere, anytime.... iHeart Radio, Radio Garden, Tune-in Radio and many others, all carry our station!
